How to play Governor of Poker 3

You start a game of poker by joining the saloon and a table. You can play offline or in multiplayer games. When you start, you will play with low bets and small saloons, but as you progress you will unlock bigger saloons and casinos where the stakes are higher.

When your round starts, one player will put in the small bet and another one the big bet. A small bet is half the bet of the standard big bet, and both players must place these bets before the round can start. The rest of the players can bet following the circle. You can raise, call, check and fold every round, until the last card is dealt, until last round is complete. 

After every player has placed their bets, the first three cards of the five will be dealt in the middle. You have two cards in your hands which you will need to match with the cards in the middle. After the last round, every player still in the game will turn around their cards, and the player with the best set will win the pot in the middle.

There are many combinations available, each one worth more than the next one. Some of the lower valued combinations include one pair of the same cards, or two pairs. Some of the highest combinations are a straight, a full house or even the almost impossible royal flush.

Tips on how to win poker

You will see in your hand what combination you have available, and a bar that shows your winning chance. Nothing is certain in this high stakes bluffing game. Do not take this as a fact, but look at what your opponents do as well. If you want to win some rounds, you may need to bluff. This means that you put in high bets, even if your cards are not as good. This will scare off opponents if done right, and give you bigger pots of chips to claim. Sometimes, the lower cards can win you the bigger pots. If you get good combinations with lower cards, you could potentially win!
